On Thursday, June 3, the official representative of the EU foreign policy service Peter Stano condemned the verdict of the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, saying that this is another example of the persecution of the Crimean Tatar people by the so-called Russian authorities.

Hatırlatamız ki, 1 iyün künü, ‘Qırımnıñ Aliy mahkemesi’ ğıyabiy şekilde qırımtatar milliy Meclis reisi Refat Çubarovğa nisbeten hüküm çıqardı. Çubarov ‘kütleviy tertipsizlik’ teşkil etkeninde qabaatlanıp, 6 yıl hapis cezası, 200 biñ ruble para cezası ve 200 saat ceza işlerine mahküm etildi.
