The Crimean Tatar Resource Center presents the analysis of violations of human rights in the occupied Crimea over April 2018. According to the organization, during the month, Russian “law enforcers” conducted 36 searches. Six detentions and 10 interrogations and warnings presented by the occupation authorities were registered. Most of these violations are conducted in relation to the Crimean Tatars. The total number of arrests in April made 19, 15 of which – in relation to the representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people. 38 times the right to a fair trial was violated, 29 times – in relation to the Crimean Tatars. 5 times the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health was violated. 2 times Russian “security officers” violated the right to freedom of peaceful assembly.The total of fines imposed by the occupation courts in April made 190 thousand rubles.
