2020 breaks records in the number of сetacean stranding in Crimea - Serene Sea

For 5.5 months of the current year, 416 marine mammalian stranding on the coast of the peninsula were recorded in the occupied Crimea. For comparison, for the whole of 2019 (from January to December), beaching of 468 marine mammals were recorded. This was reported by the Center for the Study, Rescue and Rehabilitation of Marine Mammals Tranquil Sea.

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center launched the campaign “Unutylmagan kabirler”, aimed at collecting and systematizing information about the burial sites of our ancestors in the places of deportation. “Hostages of the Occupation”: an exhibition about the fate of 20 Crimean Tatar families opened in Vinnytsia (photo)

On Tuesday, March 10, in the Vinnytsia regional youth center “Kvadrat”, a presentation of the album and an exhibition “Hostages of the Occupation” was held, which is dedicated to the fate of Crimean Tatar families who became hostages of the occupation of Crimea. How do these people live, how have their lives changed, what difficulties do they face with , how do they fight for their bright future - the residents and guests of Vinnytsia found out the answers to these questions at the opening of the exhibition of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.

The second charity music festival “Songs for Freedom” in support of the children of political prisoners of Crimea took place in Kyiv

On Thursday, February 27, the second annual music festival “Songs for Freedom” in support of the children of political prisoners of Crimea was held in Kyiv's Monte Ray concert hall. Young Ukrainian artists performed at the event and performed original songs and covers of popular compositions about freedom. All the organizers represented by the Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine and the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will donate the proceeds from the event to the children of political prisoners of Crimea.
