June 26, 2024

The largest Crimean Tatar flag has been unfurled in Kyiv – it has been entered into the Ukrainian record book.

The size of the flag is 9 by 16 metres. The record was recorded in the National Museum of the history of Ukraine in the Second World War.

“Suspilne.Krym” tells the details of the event :

“I am honoured to be with you on such a day. It is an important day for the whole Ukraine, for my people. Everything we do – the whole Ukraine, all Crimean Tatars – we do for the sake of the biggest goal – deoccupation of our entire territory, the temporarily occupied peninsula of Crimea”, – said the organiser of the action Ismail Ramazanov.

He also noted that after the liberation of Crimea this flag will be sent to the Museum of deoccupation.

“I think the history of this flag is endless, as well as endless messeges of our citizens. And if I list – this is Lviv, Kramatorsk, Odessa, Vinnitsa, Melitopol, which is currently occupied, Genichesk, Novoaleksiievka, Dnipro. Fantastic people who did the most important thing – they left a piece of themselves on it,” – Ramazanov emphasised.
