Infographic: What to do if you receive summons?

November 8, 2023

As the Crimean Tatar Resource Center learned, in occupied Crimea, since the beginning of partial mobilization, more than 60 thousand summons have been issued, and about 20 thousand people have been mobilized.

Summons were distributed throughout Crimea, people received them personally with a signature, they were dropped into the mailboxes of potential conscripts, or handed to their closest relatives, and there were cases when summons were simply issued right on the streets of Crimean cities and villages. In some cities of Crimea, representatives of military registration and enlistment offices issued summons at exits from mosques. Even the Crimean activists detained on August 25, 2023 near the building of the Russian-controlled Kyiv district court of Simferopol were given summons to serve in the Russian army.

Unfortunately, massive cases of forced mobilization have been recorded.

What to do if you have received a summons, but do not want to become a soldier in the Russian army and commit crimes?
