In the first half of 2023, 101 detentions were recorded in the occupied Crimea, 66 against Crimean Tatars. For the same period in 2022, 79 arrests were recorded, and in 2021 – 156. This is stated in the analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
Recall that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center presented an analysis of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea for the first half of 2023. According to the organization, 140 arrests, 104 cases of interrogations, interviews and conversations were recorded. 156 cases of violation of the right to a fair trial were recorded.
