The staff of the pre-trial detention center in Aqmescit (Simferopol) took away the medicines from the political prisoner Nariman Dzhelyalov. The wife of the political prisoner Leviza Dzhelyalova spoke about this on the air of the Crimean Question program.
The doctors themselves did not visit the political prisoner, they only conducted a formal examination during the transfer. When Dzhelyalov asked for medicine for his back, they laughed at him and did not give him anything.
“He went into an inflammatory process – he has three herniated intervertebral discs. His appeal to the medical unit to be given those medicines or those painkillers that he has with him – because all the documents, all things, all the medicines were confiscated from him – at the request to give it to him – was refused. So they didn’t give him anything”,- she said.
It is known that now Dzhelyalov is in a common cell and his condition is stable.
“But when communicating with him, when he is in a sitting or standing position for a long time, pain causes discomfort for him”,- added the wife of the political prisoner.
According to her, it is known that Dzhelyalov has back problems. After being transferred to a new isolation ward, complications could arise due to the conditions of stay: from 6:00 to 22:00, one cannot lie on the bed and take a lying position.
“All the legal actions that we are trying to apply here, both appeals and complaints – we all do this, but we all understand that we are under the hood of the FSB. That is, only with the permission of the FSB, the leadership can do something. Without their consent, I think it is unlikely that anything will change there”,- said Leviza Dzhelyalova.
We remind you that Nariman Dzhelyalov was found guilty of committing a crime under paragraphs a, b of part 2 of Art. 281 (commission of sabotage by an organized group, resulting in significant property damage), part 4 of Art. 222.1 (illegal acquisition, storage and transportation of explosive devices committed by an organized group), part 3 of Art. 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal transportation of an explosive device through the customs border of the Customs Union within the framework of the EurAsEC, committed by an organized group) and sentenced to 17 years in prison, a fine of 700 thousand rubles and restriction of freedom for 1.5 years.
