Braille font was created for the Crimean Tatar language for people with vision problems.
The font was designed by specialist Harris Mowbray and approved by philologist Nariman Seitiahia. The visualization of the font was prepared by Rustem Skybin together with designer Oleksandr Marchenko.
It is very important to contribute to the preservation of the Crimean Tatar language, especially considering that it is on the UNESCO list of endangered languages.
The team of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center is doing everything to preserve and develop the language of the indigenous people of Ukraine. For example, in 2019, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center translated the Common Declaration of Human Rights into the Crimean Tatar language and posted it on the official UN resource. In 2021, the European Convention on Human Rights was translated.
In addition, the CTRC website operates in four languages, including Crimean Tatar.
Thus, the CTRC continues to promote the development of the Crimean Tatar language, while attracting qualified experts. Our team is making every effort to preserve the native language of the indigenous people of Ukraine.
