On Thursday, June 22 at 15:30, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center will hold a press conference at the Ukrinform news agency as part of the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign dedicated to the Day of the Crimean Tatar flag.
We invite journalists, public figures, as well as everyone who wants to join the event.
Speakers:
Eskender Bariiev – Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, head of the Department for Legal and Foreign Affairs of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people;
Tetiana Podvorniak – Communications Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center;
Viktor Voinalovych – First Deputy Chairman of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience;
Refat Chubarov – Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people;
Tamila Tasheva – Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
During the press conference, the speakers will talk about the history and meaning of the Crimean Tatar flag, as well as explain the importance of recognizing the Day of the Crimean Tatar flag as an official holiday.
As part of the event, the speakers will present visual information products that were prepared by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center for the Day of the Crimean Tatar flag as part of the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign and inform about the events.
