On Wednesday, February 8, representatives of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Yagmur Ahmet Guldere.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Yagmur Ahmet Guldere, Head of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, Head of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, ead of the Department for Legal Affairs and Foreign Affairs of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev and member of Mejlis Riza Shevkiev.
Sincere condolences were expressed to the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Ukraine in connection with the tragic consequences of large-scale earthquakes in Turkey.
As of the morning of February 8, the death toll from the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria exceeded 9,000, with another 40,910 injured.
