On Wednesday, March 15, in the village of Choyunchi (Urozhaine) of the Simferopol region, Russian security forces searched the home of an activist of the Crimean Tatar national movement, civil journalist Rolan Osmanov.
It is now known that Rolan Osmanov was taken to the FSB in Simferopol.
Probably, this search was carried out in connection with the explosion of the railway, which occurred near Bakhchysarai on February 23, 2023.
Lawyer Edem Semedliaiev tried to enter the FSB building, but he was not allowed.
“I made an agreement, I came to represent his interests. He announced at the checkpoint his intention to meet with his client. The legal adviser of the FSB, Major Ruslan Oleksiichuk, came out to see me. He left for 15 minutes, and then went out again and said that now Roland does not need legal assistance. According to him, no procedural actions are being carried out with him”,- the lawyer said.
As a result, a protocol was drawn up against Rolan Osmanov for disrespect for the authorities for a post on the social network, where the man wrote that not a single king is worth dying or killing for him, and no one can force him to do this.
We remind you that in the occupied Crimea, Russian security forces are increasingly conducting searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars. The so-called reason for this is the explosion of the railway, which occurred near Bakhchysarai on February 23, 2023. Over the past 2 weeks, the occupiers have conducted 7 searches related to this “case”.
