A new package of UK sanctions against Russia aims to make it harder to obtain military technology and damage Moscow’s existing sources of income. This was reported on the website of the British government.
Sanctions were imposed against 86 citizens and legal entities associated with Russia: companies associated with the development of military technologies, the supply of Russian energy carriers and the export of Ukrainian grain. The British authorities accuse Pawell Shipping Co and the State Grain Corporation of systematic theft of Ukrainian grain.
Sanctions were also imposed against 24 Russians and companies associated with transport services. Among them there are six shipping companies associated with Radcomflot. The list also includes 9 organizations directly funded by the state.
The British government has said that Russian assets will remain frozen until Moscow agrees to pay reparations to Ukraine.
