Experts from the Crimean Tatar Resource Center took part in an international scientific and practical conference

On November 16-17, the VIII International Scientific and Practical Online Conference Sustainable Development – XXI Century (scientific readings named after Igor Nedin)” was held at the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

The moderator and co-chair of the conference organizing committee was an expert of the Expert Council of the CTRC on environmental protection and sustainable development of Crimea, a member of the Crimean Platform expert network, professor at NaUKMA Yevhen Khlobystov. Other CTRC experts also took part in the conferences: Viacheslav Potapenko and Svitlana Boichenko.

At the conference, reports were presented on the potential for reintegration of the Crimean economy, the geography of Ukraine, shaped by the war and the occupation of territories. Experts also spoke about the environmental consequences of industry in the cities of Dnipro and Kamianske.

Yevhen Khlobystov emphasized that the activities of the CTRC provided many new topics for research and discussion at the conference, in particular the fate of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine was discussed.
