On Monday, April 10, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center presented to the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people recommendations for the reintegration of Crimea, which were developed during the strategic forum The Future of Crimea.
We remind you that from March 3 to March 7, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine, held the Strategic Forum “The Future of Crimea”.
The Forum was attended by 20 experienced experts, including 7 doctors of sciences: political, legal, geographical, pedagogical, economic, philosophical, public administration, as well as judges, executors of court decisions, lawyers, university professors, educators, environmentalists who lived on the peninsula, know the specifics of its population, economy, political processes, are recognizable among the population of Crimea and worked on its development even before the occupation.
As part of the work, the experts identified the following areas in the process of de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea: public authorities, criminal policy, migration policy, civil policy, social and humanitarian policy, information policy, environmental policy, international policy, justice policy and anti-corruption policy.
The experts of the Strategic Forum The Future of Crimea developed recommendations for the reintegration of Crimea, taking into account the collective rights of indigenous peoples, which were submitted to the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. Subsequently, these recommendations will be sent to the President of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and other state authorities of Ukraine responsible for this direction.
