Crimean Tatar forcibly kidnapped in the occupied Crimea

On Friday, March 17, 2023, in the occupied Crimea, in the village of Yany Sarabuz (Ukromne), Simferopol district, 29-year-old Crimean Tatar Tair Seidametov was forcibly kidnapped.

According to the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov, the abduction happened at about 17:20, when Tahir Seidametov was visiting his relatives.

According to eyewitnesses, the man was on the street with his brother when a white Gazel stopped near them, from which about 7 people in civilian clothes got out and, without presenting any documents or explanations, took Tair Seidametov into a car and drove him away in an unknown direction .

On the same day, late at night, Tahir called his parents and said that on the morning of March 18 he would be at home. However, his whereabouts are still unknown.
