April 15, 2022

The occupiers continue to persecute representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. The Crimean Tatar Resource Center became aware of a number of other detentions.

Today, April 15, in the occupied town of Novooleksiivka of Henichesk district at the post stopped the car in which there was a family: the spouses Eskender and Fatima Fuka and their son Reshat Fuka. After examining the documents, the father and son were detained and taken away in an unknown direction (presumably to the 17th school in the town of Henichesk, where the occupants conduct interrogations and torture), and with Fatima Fuka they went to their house, where they illegally entered the dwelling (search).

Yesterday, April 14, in the village of Kalanchak, Kherson region, occupants carried out illegal breach into the housing (search) of Osmanov Rustem, after which the man was detained and taken to Simferopol. According to preliminary information, the Crimean Tatar is accused of involvement in the Noman Çelebicihan Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion.

Also, according to our information, in the occupied Melitopol, Kadyrovites attacked and illegally entered the house of Dliaver Seitumerov. They arrived in armored personnel carriers, smashed the windows, broke down the doors, entered the house, turned everything upside down and destroyed it. The family of Dliaver Seitumerov is safe outside of Melitopol.
