For the first time, since the day of the verdict, the defendant in the so-called Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case Marlen Asanov and his wife were given a short meeting. The political prisoner does not complain about anything and passes the challenge with dignity. The Crimean Tatar Resource Center was informed about this by his wife Aishe Asanova herself, adding that upon arrival, the translation of the Quran was taken from Asanov and has not yet been returned.
“I managed to get on a short-term date with my spouse. The last time I saw my spouse at the verdict, then of course it was very hard for me and tears just flowed like a river from all this injustice, because my husband brought only good to people and was the most honest taxpayer! It does not fit in my head to this day, because murderers are even given half the term than my spouse”,-she shared.
Aishe noted that her husband does not complain about anything and passes the challenge with dignity. He reads a lot of historical literature. True, when he arrived at the pre-trial detention center # 5, the translation of the Quran was taken from him and has not been returned to this day.
“He is interested in everything that is connected with children, how they feel, because now there is a COVID-19 pandemic, what are the successes in school, what they do in their free time, etc. He goes for a walk, goes in for sports, breathes the air and sees the sky in a box”,- said the woman.
The wife emphasized that the political prisoner does not regret anything and is proud that he is imprisoned for religion, since at all times the righteous predecessors and prophets were also oppressed and were imprisoned because of religion.
The political prisoner conveyed gratitude to all those who write letters and those who are fighting for his release.
