On Monday, October 26, First Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzheppar met with US Charge d’Affaires in Ukraine Christina Kvin, who said that the United States are ready to cooperate on the creation of the Crimean Platform, since the country’s position on the occupied Crimea remains firm and unchanged.

“Emine Dzheppar expressed gratitude to the United States for its support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and its adamant position on Russia's aggression in the Donbas and the illegal occupation of Crimea. In this regard, she informed the interlocutor in detail about the Ukrainian side's vision of the main elements and substantive content of the Crimean platform, the main goal of which should to become a consolidation of the policy of non-recognition by the international community of the occupation of Crimea”,- the message says.

It is noted that Christina Queen expressed her readiness to cooperate with Ukraine and stressed that the US position, enshrined in the Declaration on Crimea, which was promulgated by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, remains firm and unchanged – Crimea is part of Ukraine and the United States will never recognize Russia's attempts to annex it.
