Happy Qurban Bayram!

July 9, 2022

Sayğılı kardaşlarım, Qurban bayramıñız ya da Id al-adha (Arapça. عيد الأضحى) mubarek ve hayırlı olsun!

Dear brothers and sisters, congratulations on the Great Feast of the Sacrifice – Qurban Bayram or Eid al-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى)!

According to the Quran, the angel Jebrail appeared to the prophet Ibrahim in a dream and gave him a command from the Almighty to sacrifice his son Ismail. Ibrahim went to the valley of Mina to the place where Mcca now stands, and began preparations. His son, who knew about this, did not resist, as he was obedient to his father and the Almighty. This turned out to be a test from the Almighty, and when the sacrifice was almost made, Allah made it so that the knife could not cut. The sacrifice of the son was replaced by a ram, and the prophet Ibrahim was granted the successful birth of his second son.

These difficult times for our people are also a test of the Almighty! I wish the Almighty to give us strength and prudence to pass these tests with dignity! I hope that the Almighty will hear our prayers and good intentions to live freely in our native land in Crimea, to preserve and develop our customs and traditions, to help our neighbors, to make Crimea a blessed, peaceful and prosperous land!

I wish you all good health, mercy, joy and a peaceful sky above your head.

I wish that we will celebrate the next holiday all together in the free Crimea with our real friends of different ethnicities and religions!
