Three figurants of the case of “Ukrainian saboteurs” were extended the terms of detention

On Wednesday, February 7, the Supreme “court” of Crimea extended the detention period to Evgeniy Panov, Vladimir Dudka and Oleksiy Bessarabov, the figurants of the case of “Ukrainian saboteurs” until April 8, 2018,- reports Crimean human rights group.

Reference: on August 10, 2016  FSB announced  about the prevention of a terrorist attack in Crimea, allegedly prepared by the Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Later Evgeniy Panov, Andrei Zakhtei, and others were arrested, accused  of participation in "sabotage." The Ukrainian side rejected any accusations and called it a provocation.

Vladimir Dudka, Dmitry Shtyblikov and Oleksiy Bessarabov were detained on November 9, 2016 in Sevastopol on suspicion of preparing  sabotage in Crimea (article 30 and paragraph "a" of part 2 of article 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
