How Putin lost the battle for a place on the planet’s political Olympus…

June 21, 2020

Putin had big plans for 2020. And all of them, one way or another, are connected with the history, which Putin is going to enter in the so-called “right way”, and which he plans to write in the “right way”. In order to enter in the “right way”, and not simply get involved in the history, the history must be written correctly. And the whole world knows how it is done in Russia. It was 2020, in Putin’s plan, that was supposed to be the most appropriate, because it marks the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, the event that Putin privatized and uses for his own political needs.

Victory Day for Putin was to become a battle for a place on the planet's political Olympus. And he planned to gather a considerable part of the leaders of the leading countries of the world on the stands of Red Square.

The struggle for filling the guest rostrum on Putin's so-called Victory Day anniversary was not bad , but then the Gods suddenly turned away and  the COVID-19 pandemic prevented him from standing on the podium of world politics.

Well when "The guy said – the guy does"…

The Victory Day Parade on Red Square is planned to be held on June 24   similar to that on held in 1945.

And according to Russian media, the backbone of the procession will be military personnel with immunity to the new COVID-19 infection….

Yes, it’s hard to argue with Russian propaganda, but let's analyze immunity to the new coronavirus. What does it mean?

Immunity of a person to infections can be formed either as a result of recovery from illness, or after vaccination. As far as we know, scientists have not yet developed a vaccine against coronavirus, and in accordance with the Kremlin’s plans, 14 thousand soldiers and officers, as well as military personnel from other countries will take part in the Victory day Parade on Red Square.

And out of 14 thousand soldiers and officers, how many were ill with the coronavirus and make up the so-called skeleton?

And the so-called ceremonies are planned to be held in nine hero-cities and 19 cities with the participation of 64 thousand people, and out of these military personnel, how many are the so-called backbone?

At the same time, from the official Russian media, we know that due to the postponement of the solemn procession, the military faced up with difficulties: the soldiers of last year’s spring draft had already retired. The thinned ranks of ceremonial calculations were filled by the soldiers of the autumn draft. They did not take part in the rehearsals in April, and now they will have to work out the marching in the formation, during quarantine, in a short time.

Yes, as for the last year’s spring draft soldiers and cadets. Let me remind you that at rehearsals of the parade, which was supposed to be traditionally held on May 9 in Moscow, and was finally canceled, at least 376 people were infected with the coronavirus according to the official data. And these are students of Tver Suvorov military and Nakhimov naval schools, as well as cadets of Moscow Military University and other units and military institutes. In fact, there were probably many more infected.

Well, what does the health and lives of soldiers and cadets mean when the “Pedestal of World Politics!” is at stake.

Yes, but there’s failure anyway! Today, Russia has received confirmation already from 12 heads of state about their intention to attend the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on June 24.This was announced on Thursday, June 11, by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. So who are they? Confirmations were received from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Croatia, Belarus, and now attention: Abkhazia and South Ossetia. You know, if this list is supplemented by Karabakh, Transnistria, the LPR and the DPR, well, it will definitely turn out to be “A feast in time of plague."  And the leaders of sovereign countries, who have confirmed their participation, will need to think whether it is worth attending the Ball during the Plague. Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow did not send an invitation to the parade to Volodymyr Zelensky. He noted that Ukraine is no longer a member of the CIS and did not express a desire to participate in the festive events.

Well, thanks God!

Recently, more and more analysts have been talking about a possible military invasion of Russia into Ukraine. And, despite the fact that the ground intervention can be restrained by the Ukrainian Armed Forces,

Ukraine will not be able to cope on its own with a large-scale attack supported from the air.

On June 12, NATO recognizes Ukraine as enhanced opportunities partner, and this is a good present for Ukraine from its Western allies on Russia Day – the day of the occupant!

Ukraine considers the Program as an additional tool for deepening military practical cooperation with the North Atlantic Council.

The Enhanced Opportunity Partnership Program allows the partner country to achieve sectoral (operational) compatibility with NATO (at the level of the logistics system, communications, troop control, specific combat troops, etc.).

In addition, it gives the invited partner countries a number of tailor-made opportunities for cooperation with NATO.

In the meantime, the Russian special services continue to carol to receive water in Crimea.

Suddenly, they recalled about the current issues of law enforcement officers to the Ukrainian ex-president, and launched Mrs. Poklonskaya again, who asks the Ukrainian prosecutors,  as “ex-old friends”, to initiate proceedings against Mr. Poroshenko about his violation of Art. 242 "Violation of the rules of water protection", Art. 441 "Ecocide" and Art. 442 "Genocide" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

But there is the discrepancy … Poroshenko became the president on May 26, 2014, when water already no longer flowed along the North Crimean canal …
