In accordance with the definition of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation of November 5, 1998, No. 134-0: two terms of presidential authority in succession constitute a constitutional limit, the excess of which the Constitution of the Russian Federation does not allow.
However, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, Zorkin and other judges not only fail to comply with their own determination, but systematically flagrantly violate the basic law of the Russian Federation and, first of all by recognizing the annexation of Crimea.
Due to the criminal acts, the judges of the Constitutional Court (CC) of Russia were banned from entering Lithuania for the IV Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice. This was announced by the head of the RF Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 6, 2017.
President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, speaking at the event, stressed: "We can not shake hands and will never invite those who step on the rule of law and whose decisions destroy the fate of thousands of people. We must stand up for those people who fight for freedom, human rights and democracy".
The chairman of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, Dainius Jalimas, stated: "To be frank, there is no other example in the world that the judicial authorities were so discredited. Every professional lawyer knows that the annexation of Crimea is aggression, and this is a crime. There is no such precedent in any country where its court would be used tot commit such a crime".
I believe that all progressive politicians in the world must adhere to the principles of the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and declare that the elections of the President of the Russian Federation will not be recognized, and the elected president will be illegitimate.
