June 17, 2026
Unmanned systems forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful strike against Russian radar stations in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to a June 16 statement from the Unmanned Systems Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation was conducted on June 14 by operators from the 1st Separate Center.

As a result of the attack, five enemy coastal radar stations used to monitor the air and sea situation were destroyed.

According to the Ukrainian military, the targets were located in the areas of the settlements of Snizhne, Tarkhankut, Severne, and Portove. The destruction of these facilities is expected to weaken the Russian occupation forces’ ability to monitor and defend the western coast of the Crimean Peninsula.

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center expresses its sincere gratitude to Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces for their courage, resilience, and daily struggle for the freedom and independence of our state.

We emphasize that Ukraine will undoubtedly reclaim every temporarily occupied piece of its territory!
