Russian ships will return from occupied Crimea to their home port in Novorossiysk

The Russian command is considering relocating the remaining command and control structures of the Russian Black Sea Fleet from occupied Ak’yar (Sevastopol) to Novorossiysk. This was reported by the “ATESH” partisan movement.

According to the movement, the fleet’s headquarters are working on plans to relocate command units from Crimea to the Russian Federation. Specifically, this concerns facilities that have lost their functionality following Ukrainian strikes or which are under constant threat of attack.

“ATESH” noted that some Russian officers are already preparing for the move: they are relocating their families, selling their property, and settling in Novorossiysk without waiting for official orders.

The partisan movement attributes these intentions to the intensification of strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the military infrastructure of occupied Crimea and the deterioration of the logistical situation for Russian troops on the peninsula.
