The occupiers illegally detained a 19-year-old Crimean who allegedly planned to blow up the car of a high-ranking official of the Russia-controlled Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported by the occupation media.
“To prepare for the crime, the young man rented an apartment opposite the house where the police officer lived and set up surveillance. According to the FSB, he obtained the components for the explosives from a cache prepared by the Ukrainian side. He planned to place a homemade explosive device under the law enforcement officer’s car. After committing the terrorist act, the suspect planned to leave for permanent residence in one of the European countries,” – the report said.
According to propagandists, the detainee has allegedly confessed his guilt.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Center notes that this case is yet another example of the illegal actions of the occupying authorities and the persecution of Crimean youth on trumped-up charges.
