In the temporarily occupied Akyar (Sevastopol), Russian security forces detained a local resident accused of “collaborating with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.” This was reported by the occupation media.
According to the occupation authorities, since September 2023, she allegedly maintained contact with Ukrainian intelligence via a foreign messenger app and transmitted data on the locations and movements of Russian military equipment and personnel in Akyar. In particular, this involved photographs of Black Sea Fleet ships, which, according to the FSB, could have been used to plan strikes.
In addition, the occupiers claimed that the detainee worked as a chef in a public catering establishment and allegedly planned to poison Russian military personnel. The woman was taken into custody and a criminal case was opened against her under the article “high treason.”
