The occupation court in Crimea sentenced a man to 18 years for “treason”

The so-called Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced a 31-year-old resident of Akmesdzhit (Simferopol) to 18 years in a strict regime colony and further restriction of liberty for another 1 year and 10 months. This was reported by the occupation prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea.

“It has been established that in November 2023, while opposing the so-called ‘special military operation’, the man, while near the city of Feodosia, on his own initiative collected data on the movement of a locomotive with tank cars carrying petroleum products to a reception point,” – the statement said.

The occupiers sentenced the man to 18 years in a strict regime colony and also imposed a restriction of liberty for 1 year and 10 months.
