On Wednesday, February 26, on the occasion of the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea, the Crimean Tatar flag was raised in Vinnytsia, and activists of the International Movement #LIBERATECRIMEA held an action dedicated to the 11th anniversary of the occupation of Crimea.

The event was attended by regional leaders, military officers, representatives of Crimean Tatars and Vinnytsia residents. They unfurled the Crimean Tatar flag, as well as posters designed by activists of the International Movement #LIBERATECRIMEA and the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.

“This day reminds us of the strength of spirit, devotion and resistance of thousands of Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians and representatives of other nationalities who in 2014 said “No!” to Russia’s aggression and invasive intentions. Then people began to defend their native land, despite threats and repression,” – said the Chairman of the Regional Council Vyacheslav Sokolovy.

We are very grateful to all activists for such incredible support and are happy that the visual products of the CTRC are used in various events and our posters help to tell more about rf crimes in Ukraine.

Together to Victory!
