CTRC launches a storm in social media on the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea

February 19, 2025

Crimea has been under occupation for eleven years. A full-scale war has been going on for three years now, which has turned the lives of millions of Ukrainians upside down. But the resilience of our people remains unshakable, and the struggle for liberation continues.

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center is launching a social media storm under the slogan ‘Resistance will continue as long as Crimea occupied’, dedicated to the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea.

We want to remind the world that the occupation is not the past, it is our present, and every day in captivity is a test for those who stayed in Crimea, for those who were forced to leave their homes.

Since 2014, Ukraine has been resisting. This resistance does not stop, because Crimea is Ukraine. Thousands of people do not give up, do not remain silent, and continue to fight for truth, for identity, for freedom. We support this voice because it speaks for all those who are deprived of the right to speak.

We call on everyone who cares to join in! Share one of the posters on your social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram) with the hashtag #LIBERATECRIMEA. This is a simple but important gesture that will show the occupiers and the whole world: we will not forget, we will not forgive, we will continue to fight.

Each repost is part of our common resistance. Together – to victory!

These posters were developed by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, activists of the international movement for the deoccupation of Crimea and solidarity with the Crimean Tatar people #LIBERATECRIMEA, and acquired their professional image thanks to the Ukrainian artist Andriy Yermolenko.
