UN Climate Change Conference starts in Baku

The 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) has started in Baku, Azerbaijan, and will last until November 22.

The theme of this year’s COP is the role of youth in the climate agenda. All participants will discuss further actions to overcome the effects of global warming.

Among the participants of COP29 will be representatives of Ukraine, including experts from the Crimean Tatar Resource Center:

Yevhen Khlobystov, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, member of the CTRC Expert Council on Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development of Crimea, coordinator of the Ecology and Economy working group of the International Crimea Platform Expert Network;

Borys Babin – Doctor of Law, Professor, Attorney at Law, member of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center Legal Expert CouncilAs a reminder, the CTRC is one of the few organizations in Ukraine that has observer status at the COP.
