The documentary 20 Days in Mariupol wins two more awards at the Grierson Awards

The documentary film 20 Days in Mariupol by Ukrainian director
Mstyslav Chernov has won two more awards at the prestigious Grierson British Documentary Awards. This was reported on the official website of the award.

The award is presented by The Grierson Trust, a charitable organization that recognizes “innovative and engaging documentaries” in honor of Scottish documentary filmmaker John Grierson. The film “20 Days in Mariupol” won in two nominations: Best Current Affairs Documentary and Best Cinematic Documentary.

The Crimean Tatar Resource Center congratulates the filmmakers on this important victory and emphasizes that it continues to work on similar projects that highlight the crimes of Russian aggression, including those against Crimean Tatars.

One of these projects is the documentary “Crimean Askers”, which tells about the participation of the Crimean Tatar people in the
Russian-Ukrainian war. The film is currently available in three
languages: English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
