On Thursday, November 7, a Memorandum of Cooperation and Interaction between the Crimean Tatar Resource Center and the National Scientific Center “Bokarius Institute of Forensic Expertise” of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was solemnly signed in Kharkiv.
According to Eskender Barшiev, Chairman of the Board of the CTRC, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, the memorandum is aimed at joining efforts towards systematic, constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of science, education and forensic science.
The parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas planning and conducting joint research in the field of science, education, forensic science and other fields;
organization and participation in joint events;
providing scientific, methodological, advisory and practical mutual
assistance in matters of scientific and forensic activities;
exchange of experience and mutual consultation on scientific and
practical activities;
publication of scientific, analytical, educational and methodological materials based on the results of joint work;
training and professional development of personnel through joint
seminars, advanced training courses, and internships.
In addition, as part of the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation, Eskender Bariiev visited the Museum of Forensic Expertise and made an entry in the guest of honor book.
In the near future, the Institute’s scientists will take part in the
events of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center: in the side event of the UN International Conference on Climate Change COP 29, in the IV Strategic Forum “The Future of Crimea”, in the International Scientific and Practical Symposium “Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People and Occupation of Crimea: Legal and Humanitarian Aspects”.
“I am confident that in the near future, thanks to the cooperation
with the Institute, we will be able to prepare important expert material not only for national but also for international courts on
the crimes of the Russian Federation in the occupied Crimea”, –
emphasized the Chairman of the CTRC Board.
