The occupation ‘authorities’  of Akyar (Sevastopol) sentenced a 45-year-old local resident to 15 years in prison on charges of espionage in favour of the Security Service of Ukraine. This is reported by propaganda media with reference to information from the FSB.

According to Russian security forces, the man allegedly passed strategic information about the location of ships and submarines of the Black Sea Fleet, as well as the locations of military units in Akyar. This data, they claimed, could have been used by the Ukrainian side to plan drone attacks.

The court handed down a verdict, according to which the man was sentenced to 15 years in a strict regime colony, a fine of 200,000 rubles, and two years of restricted freedom upon release.
