Employees of the Centre for Counteraction to Extremism of the Interior Ministry in the city of Kerch detained a local resident Igor Nikolaevich Vovk, who publicly opposed the so-called ‘special military operation’ of Russia. This was reported in the telegram channel ‘Crimean SMERSH’.
It is known that he hung the flag of Ukraine from the balcony and turned on the anthem.
Crimean media controlled by the occupants said that Vovk was detained allegedly for ‘propaganda of Nazism’ and tried to ridicule his difficult living conditions. A report on an administrative offence was drawn up against the man, and the case materials were sent to the ‘court’, which will probably consider the case for ‘discrediting the armed forces of rf’.
It is known that in 2018 Igor Vovk, who headed a garage-building cooperative, was fined 10 thousand rubles for organising an illegal protest for the anniversary of the ‘Crimean spring’, where the issue of land legalisation was raised.
