Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has commented on his recent statement on Crimea.
‘Poland, of course, supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, there is no doubt about that. I am only interested in the return of Crimea to Ukraine,’ the foreign minister explained, responding to criticism from Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar politicians at a briefing for Polish media in Washington.
He also added that at the conference there was a hypothetical discussion among the present experts in an informal mode, where they discussed possible variants of the implementation of President Zelensky’s proposals on the return of Crimea.
CTRC recalls that recently at the annual YES meeting in Kyiv, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski expressed his position on the future of Crimea. The message spoke about the possible transfer of Crimea under the UN mandate in order to prepare for fair elections.
