Russian Federation takes more than 12,000 paintings from Kherson to Crimea

Russians have taken out more than 12 thousand paintings from Kherson to Crimea. This was reported by the Centre for Investigative Journalism.

Russian-appointed Minister of Culture of the occupied part of the Kherson region Artem Lagoysky said that exhibits of the Kherson regional museum of local lore and the Kherson art museum were taken to Akyar (Sevastopol), part to the Museum of Defence of Akyar (Sevastopol), and part to the Chersonesos Tavrichesky.

From the Kherson Art Museum, the stolen paintings were taken to the Akmesdzhit (Simferopol) Museum of Taurida.
