Occupiers in Crimea detain young man for ‘state treason’

On Monday, 2 September, a local resident was detained in Kerch, occupied Crimea, for allegedly ‘collecting and transmitting data on the deployment of air defence systems’ at the behest of Ukrainian special services.
According to Russian media, the detainee was found to have correspondence with his Ukrainian handler and a case has been opened under the article  ‘state treason’.

Apparently, under pressure from the occupiers, the young man was forced to confess.
