Zodie Saliieva left the FSB building after seven hours of questioning

Zodie Saliieva, a 70-year-old veteran of the Crimean Tatar movement and mother of political prisoner Seiran Saliiev, left the building of the Federal Security Service in Akmesdzhit (Simferopol) after a seven-hour interrogation by the law enforcement agency. This was reported by her daughter-in-law, human rights activist Mumine Saliieva to ‘Crimean Solidarity’ public association.

The mother of a political prisoner was taken to the FSB at 7:40 on 29 August. She was there from 8 a.m. till 14:45.

‘Had a conversation with me. They looked at my contacts and who I communicate with. I am 70 years old, of course I have many acquaintances,’ – said Zodie Saliieva.

She was also given a non-disclosure undertaking.

Earlier in the duty part of the Department of the FSB of rf in Crimea and Akyar (Sevastopol) to the lawyer Edem Semedlyaev was informed that they do not have a veteran of the Crimean Tatar movement.
