The Southern District Court in Rostov-on-Don has extended the term of detention in pre-trial detention for the defendants of the first Dzhankoy group of the ‘Hizb ut-Tahrir case’. This is reported by the ‘Crimean solidarity’.
Political prisoners will remain in the pre-trial detention centre until 29 November, except for Seytyatya Abbozov, who is under house arrest.
We will remind, in the early morning of 11 August 2022 in Dzhankoysky district of occupied Crimea mass searches of Crimean Tatar activists took place. Six men – Vilen Temeryanov, Enver Krosh, Seityahu Abbozov, Murat Mustafayev, Edem Bekirov and Rinat Aliyev – were detained by law enforcers on charges of participation in Hizb ut-Tahrir.
