Since 2014, the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre has recorded at least 46 detentions on charges of participation in the Noman Celebidzhikhan Battalion: 18 in the occupied Crimea, 28 in the occupied Kherson region after 24 February 2022.

- On 27 March 2024, a resident of the village Rykovo, Kherson region Bilyal Abdurakhmanov was arrested in Rykovo village, Kherson region.
- On 17 April 2024, a 66-year-old resident of Novoalekseevka village was arrested (details of the detainee are being clarified).
- On 1 July 2024, a resident of Genichesk district was arrested (details of the detainee are being clarified).
- On 18 July 2024, a resident of Genichesk district was arrested (details of the detainee are being clarified).
All these people are accused of participation in the volunteer battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan.We would like to remind you that on 1 June 2022, the Supreme Court of Russia satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia to recognize the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan as a terrorist organisation and ban its activities on the territory of the Russian Federation.
