Participants of the Freedom Camp were told about the International Movement #LIBERATECRIMEA

The Crimean Tatar Resource Centre with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine continues the work of the Freedom Camp. Participants were told about the international civil society movement #LIBERATECRIMEA and information campaigns.

Eskender Bariiev, Chairman of the Board of the CTRC, member of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people told the participants of the ‘Freedom Camp’ about the international movement #LIBERATECRIMEA, its strategy and activities.

He noted that the movement aims to strengthen the voice of civil society calling for an end to the illegal occupation of Crimea, a gross violation of international law and the root cause of countless human rights violations committed in Crimea since February 2014.

CTRC manager Zarema Bariieva presented the developments of #LIBERATECRIMEA activists and the CTRC team and  such  campaigns as: ‘Mogilisation’, “By  returning the names – we return Crimea” and “The Future of Crimea”.

The participants also paid special attention to the development of new visual materials for the international cicil society movement #LIBERATECRIMEA .
In addition, the participants of the “Freedom Camp” held an evening of presentations of political fairy tales. And Eskender Bariiev, Chairman of the Board of the CTRC, conducted a role-playing game ‘Red&Blue’ aimed at the ability to negotiate.

‘This game makes you realise that in this world everyone wins only when everyone stays on the ‘pluses’ and someone still wins. And if everyone stays with the ‘minuses’, then everyone loses. As it happens in life,’ – the expert explained.
