Occupation authorities are increasing pressure on political prisoner Server Zekiryaev, who is being held inSingle cell facility of CC-1 in Tula region.
According to his wife Zarema on her Facebook page, the conditions of his detention are absolutely unbearable, unfit for life – they are actually torture conditions.
‘He breathes around the clock strong gas emissions from the sewerage system of the general camp. Most of all he is tormented at night. With systemicity for four days at a time, he doesn’t sleep: his cervical lymph nodes are aggressive, the stench and lack of oxygen make him suffocate. He is already nervous and physically exhausted!’ – she reports.
It is known that on 11 June 2024 Server refused to enter the cell and demanded normal conditions of detention, to which the occupants called the squad and he began to frighten him that they would forcibly throw him into the ‘hut’.
We would like to remind that on 11 October 2017 in the city of Bakhchisaray, the occupiers conducted mass searches in 6 houses of Crimean Tatars – Marlen Asanov, Seiran Saliiev, Timur Ibragimov, Memet Belyalov, Ernes Ametov, Server Zekiryaev. All of them were detained. They were charged under Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ‘Participation in the activities of an organisation that is recognised as terrorist in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation’. On 16 September 2020, in the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don, the Crimean Tatars were sentenced to terms from 13 to 19 years of imprisonment.
