Crimean Tatar Resource Centre on the eve of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples launches a test, developed as part of the #LIBERATECRIMEA information campaign. Every Ukrainian will be able to test their knowledge about this day by answering 10 questions.
The International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples is celebrated annually on 9 August. There are about 370 million representatives of indigenous peoples in the world, living in 90 countries. They are the carriers of 5000 different cultures and the vast majority of world languages, the total number of which is about seven thousand.
We decided to tell Ukrainians more about Indigenous Peoples’ Day and the indigenous peoples of Ukraine.
