In Crimea, compared to the last year, the number of fires increased by 35%. The deputy head of the Main Department of the occupation Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Crimea reported about it. In this regard, the round-the-clock work of interdepartmental groups has been organised to prevent the building of fires, burning of dry vegetation and rubbish, reported in the occupation body.
The territory of the Simferopol reservoir has become one of the favourite zones for arsonists not only during the day, but also at night, the occupation authorities report.
Over the past weekend employees of the Department of supervisory activities fined more than 10 people for a total amount of about 200 thousand rubles – under Art. 20.4 ‘Violation of fire safety rules’, which entails administrative responsibility.
As of today in Crimea in total during preventive raids for fires in ecosystems 360 people were brought to administrative responsibility (part 1 of article 20.4 of the “Code of the Russian Federation on administrative offenses”), including: citizens – 285; officials – 50; legal entities – 25, reported occupation law enforcers.
