According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre, in the first half of 2024, the occupants held at least 68 military exercises of the Russian army in Crimea.

There is a tendency that the occupants are increasingly justifying loud explosions on the peninsula by holding another military exercise.
We would like to remind you that military exercises, propaganda of military service and conscription into the armed forces of the Russian Federation have been regularly held in the occupied Crimea since 2014. We would like to stress that the military exercises conducted by the Russian military destroy the peninsula’s ecosystem and are a gross violation of the international law.
