Well-equipped medical centres are not accessible to ordinary Crimeans – activist #LIBERATECRIMEA

In the Crimean branch of the international movement #LIBERATECRIMEA in a comment to “Krym.Realii” told that ordinary Crimeans cannot get into well-equipped modern medical centres.

“The problem is that state medicine in Crimea is for ordinary people, and there are for people with status and connections. Doctors I know in private conversations tell me that there are excellent state medical institutions in Crimea, such as the new Semashko Clinical Hospital or the Republican Perinatal Centre, but only “the right people” get there. There is also commercial medicine, where prices are off the charts,” said the #LiberateCrimea activist, whose surname is withheld for security reasons.

So there are three realities of medicine in Crimea: bad – for ordinary people, good – for those with status, and commercial – for the desperate.
