The speaker of the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, told this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
Pletenchuk noted that now the Crimean bridge is almost not used for military logistics. Therefore, it now carries less than a quarter of the total load.
“The rest goes through the ferry crossing, which was recently hit. Therefore, this bridge is no longer of such tactical and strategic importance after the damage it received as a result of the joint operation of the SBU and the Navy with a drone attack,” Pletenchuk said.
He added that the Russians were building the railway to supply the occupants’ grouping in southern Ukraine.
