Crimean propaganda media have recently been regularly announcing recruitment for contract service in Russian military units on the peninsula. This is due to an acute shortage of personnel in these military units, Krym.Realii reports with reference to an activist of the Crimean branch of the international movement for the deoccupation of Crimea #LiberateCrimea.
“Before the so-called “SMO”, Russian military units in Crimea had almost a full complement of personnel, but since the spring of 2022, many contract soldiers have been sent to war, and those who survived there have lost their desire to extend their contracts,” commented the #LiberateCrimea activist from Belogirsk.
According to the movement’s monitoring, unit commanders are now facing a major problem of how to fill the acute shortage of personnel, which critically affects the functioning and performance of tasks.
