In Crimea, children’s school marks are lowered if they do not write letters to the military of the Russian Federation

In some Crimean schools, pupils’ annual grades are lowered due to the fact that they did not write letters to “participants of the SMO”. This is reported by the “Crimean discourse” Telegram channel.

It is known that in at least three cases teachers directly confirmed this very reason for lowering grades to students. In particular, activists registered at least five cases when students were forbidden to bring inflatable balloons of yellow and blue colours to the graduation.

“Also under the ban came graduation ribbons in Crimean Tatar in the colours of the national Crimean Tatar flag because of the similarity of the combination of colours with the Ukrainian flag. Two schools were also banned from displaying the Crimean Tatar flag because of “the absence of this flag as a state symbol of the Russian Federation,” the initiative notes.

We would like to remind that the Russian propaganda machine has been working for a long time: from the very beginning of the occupation of Genichesk district, the occupants began to “process” the local population, as reported by the Chairman of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre and a member of  Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eskender Bariiev.

According to him, the occupiers tried to gather representatives of education and culture for a “general meeting”, but it was in vain. “Lessons” to Ukrainian children began to be held already in November 2022, when one of the local schools was visited by the representatives of the movement ” Yunarmiya” and special forces “Grom-2”, who tried to justify the war in Ukraine and attract children in the future to link their lives with the military profession.

Unfortunately, tens of thousands of children will fall victim to fake education. They are trying to rewrite history. But everyone in this world knows that it was Russia that committed the real crime, during which many innocent people died. And all children will definitely learn about it when the occupied territories return back home.
