In Genichesk district of Kherson region, the occupants organised a forum for schoolchildren under the title “Historical memory”. This is reported by the news agency Rayon.Genichesk.
The event had a propaganda character, in particular, the schoolchildren were tried to convince in the “correctness” of Russia’s actions so that they had a negative attitude against Ukraine.
The forum was held in several stages, including lectures, video screenings and discussions. The occupation authorities used the event as a tool to influence young people, trying to distort historical facts and impose their ideology. Propaganda materials were also distributed to the participants.
The forum was attended by “well-known personalities”, including the invader “Hero of Russia” Dmitry Polkovnikov, doctor of “historical sciences” Elena Linkova, member of the “Union of Military Operations” Aleksey Volnovoi and veteran of the war in Afghanistan Igor Telegin.
During May 20-24, participants of this propaganda forum held 80 seminars on “military-patriotic” topics in Genichesk, Schastlivtsevo, Strelkovoye, Novoalekseevka, Rivne and Azovskoye.
